Crewdson – A Review of Photo Alchemy

Gregory Crewdson: doesn’t so much take pictures as make them. Some critics say the photographer and artist is reinventing the genre by using film techniques to stage pictures. It’s the moment between then and now that interests Crewdson — he likes that photography limits him to choose only one moment to convey a narrative arc. Each photo is polished and technically perfect, but still somewhat undone. The viewer must imagine what comes before and after. Edwin Tejoz: A composer/song-writer. He records almost all of his brilliant songs in the living room of his 2 bedroom apartment. www.thesixtyone.com/TejoZ www.youtube.com

Van Halen Unreleased Song – Somebody Get Me A Doctor – Michael Anthony Sings

Michael Anthony takes lead vocals on “Somebody Get Me A Doctor” brought to you by ChrisGosett.com in a high quality recording accompanied by pictures. This audio recording took place during the 1998-1999 Van Halen III tour. (with Gary Cherone as the lead singer) Van Halen played “Somebody Get Me A Doctor” with Michael Anthony doing lead vocals at least once, the version heard here; Gary Cherone was one of the background vocalists for this take. Pictures show a sundown in tribute to the departure of Mike and Michael Anthony shots with Van Halen, alone, shots of Van Halen today, in overdrive, with Wolfy adding a new flavor. Although fans love seeing Dave back it would be nice to hear Michael Anthony’s vocals. They are missed. In this rare version you get the treat of enjoying Michael Anthony the whole song, as who he should have been occasionally: the lead singer for Van Halen. Hearing this version with Mike singing makes you wonder why Van Halen never did have Mike singing lead vocal on any studio tracks…ever. This version is a testament to the fact….proof positive, that he definitely could have been a lead singer for Van Halen.

Second Home By The Sea Is Up And Running, Here’s The Site: ca.youtube.com LYRICS: Creeping up the blind side, shinning up the wall Stealing thru the dark of night Climbing thru a window, stepping to the floor Checking to the left and the right Picking up the pieces, putting them away Something doesnt feel quite right Help me someone, let me out of here Then out of the dark was suddenly heard Welcome to the home by the sea Coming out the woodwork, thru the open door Pushing from above and below Shadows but no substance, in the shape of men Round and down and sideways they go Adrift without direction, eyes that hold despair Then as one they sign and they moan Help us someone, let us out of here Living here so long undisturbed Dreaming of the time we were free So many years ago Before the time when we first heard Welcome to the home by the sea Sit down sit down Sit down sit down sit down As we relive our lives in what we tell you Images of sorrow, pictures of delight Things that go to make up a life Endless days of summer longer nights of gloom Waiting for the morning light Scenes of unimportance, photos in a frame Things that go to make up a life Help us someone, let us out of here Cos living here so long undisturbed Dreaming of the time we were

Why Don’t Black People Smile In Photos

Download The Picture HERE! bit.ly Subscribe to jay.. because i said so www.youtube.com Shirts for sale! www.districtlines.com my second channel: www.youtube.com twitter: www.twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com myspace!: www.myspace.com For those of you offended by this you need to take a step back no matter your race.. the N word is just a word. It means "lower then dirt" or "bad person" It has nothing to do with black people.. other then they get called it really anybody could be one. Words are just words.. take it easy. My friend jay has told me many times " feel free to exploit my blackness.. its what its here for" He is good about it and understands that it is funny as hell. He and I have found that the only people offended by the N word are white people. I throw it around at jay in public and only the white people stop and say whoa man you shouldnt say that.. its terrible It really isn't fair that it is alright for black comics to make fun of white people in their act but when a white guy tells a black joke or drops the n bomb shit hits the fan for that one guy. I don't care how much negative attention this gets… i need to know why black people don't smile Ps for those of you doubting jays blackness half his family is from barbados

Lostprophets – Can’t Catch Tomorrow (Good Shoes Won’t Save Y

“Can’t Catch Tomorrow (Good Shoes Won’t Save You This Time)” is the third single from the album Liberation Transmission, the third studio album by Welsh band Lostprophets. The band worked with Ryan Smith on the music video for this song. The video was filmed in Los Angeles and is inspired by the 70′s mod film Quadrophenia . The shoes on the cover art are from a competition where fans were asked to take polaroid pictures of their shoes. The winning submissions made the cover. This is the first music video in which the band openly acknowledged Ilan Rubin as a member, (he is credited the nickname, “Ilan the Yank,”) but this is not his first video appearance, for he appeared in both Rooftops and A Town Called Hypocrisy. CD 1 “Can’t Catch Tomorrow (Good Shoes Won’t Save You This Time)” “Fight (Everybody’s Screaming!!!)” (Demo) CD 2 “Can’t Catch Tomorrow (Good Shoes Won’t Save You This Time)” “Can’t Catch Tomorrow” (Live from Cardiff) “Wait (Always All Ways)” (Demo) 7″ “Can’t Catch Tomorrow (Good Shoes Won’t Save You This Time)” “Can’t Catch Tomorrow” (Acoustic demo) www.myspace.com/lostprophets www.visiblenoise.com www.myspace.com/visiblenoiserocks

Bobby Vee – Take Good Care Of My Baby – 1961

This was Bobby Vee’s first and only #1 hit. Released on August 7th,1961, it immediately began to climb up the Billboard Charts, and by September 18th, 1961 it had reached #1, staying there for three weeks. It is no surprise, given it was written by the legendary Brill Building songwriting team of Gerry Goffin and Carole King, the song featured an irresistible melody along with inspired and sincere lyrics. Add to that an equally sincere and strong vocal performance by Bobby Vee and you have one of the greatest hits of all time. I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Bobby Vee after a show four years ago, and he took the time to talk to my wife and me, and to sign a rare EP from Barcelona, Spain. He even commented that he had never seen it before. He also signed other items and took pictures, showing us what a kind and down-to-earth guy he really is. I’m glad I got the opportunity to shake his hand and to thank him for all the musical pleasure he had provided us over the years. So in his honor I give you this humble video.
